about

An unending fascination for Landscape, Wildlife, Nature and Still Life led to peace, joy and serenity in the great outdoors, or in the simplicity of still life. Observing the world around us never fails to incur a sense of child-like wonder and curiosity and gratitude in being a part of this amazing world.

Forests, bodies of water, vast vistas or single subjects all hold an unending appeal. Portraying the emotions of a scene to the viewer became not only the challenge, but the priority. I wanted you, the viewer, to feel what I felt in viewing the scene.

The daily sojourns into nature led to wildlife and bird photography - the challenge to portray predatory and prey behaviour in motion or how light and shadow can change the appearance of a leaf.

As some severe winters and surgeries led to restrictive indoor activities, a need for creative photographic output led to Still Life photography.

On these pages, you will find a sampling of what inspires and constantly fascinates me.
